    FAQ

Common questions about Bounty CRM plans, modules, document links, permissions, mobile, and alpha.

Answers to questions we hear most while Bounty CRM is in alpha. For deeper how-tos, use the guides and settings articles in the sidebar.

    Plans & pricing

What’s the difference between Starter, Professional, and Business?

Starter ($49/mo) is the land tier for core CRM (contacts, jobs, estimates, invoices, team). Professional ($129/mo) adds the complete ops stack—payments, mobile, contracts, Price Book, Timekeeping, custom email domain—with higher seats/jobs/storage. Business ($249/mo) keeps that same module set with still higher capacity. You’ll see it labeled Business on pricing and billing. See /docs/guides/choosing-a-plan and /pricing.

Can I buy individual modules on Starter?

Yes. Feature add-ons (payments, mobile, contracts, Price Book, Timekeeping, custom email domain) are available when not already included. Usage add-ons raise seats, jobs, or storage on any paid tier. SMS is deferred for MVP and is not sold. See /docs/settings/billing.

    Modules & naming

Is Price Book the same as inventory?

No. Price Book is your sellable catalog—services and materials with prices for estimates and invoices. It is not full warehouse stock tracking (quantities on hand, receiving, etc.).

Are Contracts the same as memberships?

No. Contracts cover templates, e-sign, and handoff for service agreements. They are not a memberships or club-billing product. Automated recurring invoicing is planned for post-launch—see /docs/releases/planned.

    Is Timekeeping included?

Yes on Professional and Business. Starter can add Timekeeping as a paid add-on. It covers day attendance clocks, job labor tracking, and timesheets—see /docs/features/timekeeping and /docs/guides/choosing-a-plan.

    Document links

Do accept / pay / sign links mean I have a Customer Portal?

No. Public pages to accept estimates, pay invoices, and sign contracts ship with those document workflows. A separate self-service Customer Portal & Online Booking product is not available yet and must not be confused with these links. See /docs/guides/public-links-handoff.

How is Related Documents linking different from accept / pay / sign links?

Related Documents is staff-side linking inside the CRM—it keeps one job, one estimate, one invoice, and one contract in sync for the same work (slots, fan-out, locks, void/unlink). Accept, pay, and sign links are customer-facing public pages for a single document action. They do not replace Related Documents and do not attach a second invoice to the same job. See /docs/guides/document-linking and /docs/guides/public-links-handoff.

What happens when I reschedule a job?

Reschedule creates a new job on the updated visit times—it does not simply change the date on the existing job. The original stays in your history as Rescheduled (greyed on calendars) with no attached estimate, invoice, or contract. Those documents, plus photos and notes, move to the replacement job. See /docs/features/jobs and /docs/guides/document-linking.

    Access control

Why can’t a user open a module we paid for?

What’s in your plan unlocks the module for the company; role permissions decide what each user can do. Both layers must allow access. Walkthrough: /docs/guides/roles-permissions.

    Mobile

What are the mobile limits in alpha?

The field app targets schedule, jobs, contacts, timekeeping, and field billing actions. Managing your subscription, connecting Stripe/SendGrid, and some admin settings are desktop web tasks. Native iOS is available via TestFlight for invited testers; a public Apple App Store listing is still planned for the beta track—see /docs/releases/planned and /docs/features/mobile.

    Alpha

Is it safe to use alpha for real customers?

Alpha is intended for early real use with the understanding that UI and features can change, and some areas (Reports, Calendar sync, QuickBooks) aren’t ready. Keep critical records exportable and send feedback to customerservice@praevisio.co. Details: /docs/releases/alpha.

    When is beta?

We plan a broader beta launch in October 2026. See /docs/releases/planned.

    Still stuck?
