    Mobile field app

Field CRM on your phone with bottom nav People, Jobs, Home, Billing, and Settings—subscription and integrations stay on desktop; native iOS via TestFlight, public App Store planned.

    Overview

The Bounty CRM mobile field app is a dedicated CRM experience for technicians and on-the-go staff. It runs as a phone-friendly field app (open the mobile path on your CRM host), with a bottom navigation bar: People, Jobs, Home, Billing, and Settings. Invited testers can also use a native iOS build via TestFlight; a public App Store listing is still planned.

Mobile is not a shrunk copy of every desktop screen. It prioritizes field work—today’s jobs, customer lookup, completing work, and customer-facing document flows—while leaving heavyweight administration on desktop. Managing subscription changes and integrations is desktop-only by design so those high-impact settings are not accidentally edited between stops.

A public App Store / Play Store listing is still planned. Today teams use the mobile web field app and, when invited, TestFlight. The native app includes Face ID / Touch ID app lock, optional staff push notifications, and limited offline support (cached reads plus a jobs/contacts mutation outbox)—it is not a full offline-first product yet.

What it allows you to do

    • Run the day from a phone-sized Jobs experience.
    • Look up People (contacts) on site without calling the office.
    • Use Home as a field dashboard for schedule and activity signals.
    • Access Billing flows relevant in the field (estimates/invoices/payments as permitted).
    • Clock in/out for the day and track job labor when Timekeeping is on your plan—see /docs/features/timekeeping.
    • Adjust personal Settings appropriate to mobile (for example notification preferences and Face ID / Touch ID on native).
    • Complete customer document links (accept, pay, sign) on mobile when handing a device to a customer.
    • Stay in sync with the same company data the office sees on desktop; briefly offline, cached data and a jobs/contacts outbox help you keep moving until you’re back online.

    How it impacts your workflow

Field teams that only have desktop CRM end up screenshotting schedules into group texts. Mobile closes that gap: the tech opens Jobs, sees the assignment, navigates to the customer, and updates status without a phone tree. Office staff stop being the go-between for “what’s my next address?”

Handoff patterns improve too. When you finish a job and want payment or a signature, mobile document links let the customer complete accept/pay/sign on the spot. That pairs with /docs/guides/public-links-handoff and /docs/features/customer-portals.

Keeping subscription and integrations on desktop prevents a class of mistakes: swapping Stripe settings in a parking lot, or changing plan add-ons with fat-finger taps. Techs get speed; owners keep control surfaces where they belong.

    Key screens & actions

    Bottom navigation

    • People — contacts and customer context in the field.
    • Jobs — schedule, job detail, and Reschedule from the overflow FAB when visit times need a fresh job.
    • Home — field-oriented dashboard / feed widgets.
    • Billing — estimates, invoices, and related collection flows when your plan and role allow.
    • Settings — personal/mobile-appropriate settings (not full company admin).

    Desktop-only administration

Use the web CRM on a desktop (or large tablet in desktop mode) to manage subscription billing, plan upgrades, feature add-ons, and integrations (Stripe, SendGrid, QuickBooks, and similar connectors). If a control is missing on mobile, that is usually intentional—not a bug.

    1. Confirm your plan includes Mobile Field App (Professional and Business, or add-on on Starter).
    2. Invite the tech as a user with a field-appropriate role.
    3. Have them sign in, then open the mobile field app.
    4. Confirm Jobs assignments appear and contact details are readable.
    5. Practice one handoff (pay or sign) before using it on a live high-stakes job.
    6. Keep owners on desktop for billing and integration changes.

    Connections

    Permissions & plan notes

Your plan includes Mobile Field App on Professional ($129) and Business ($249). On Starter ($49), add Mobile for $29/mo (flat for your company). Users still need role permissions for the modules they touch on the phone.

    • Contracts, Payment Processing, and Price Book remain separate—even if Mobile is on. SMS is deferred for MVP.
    • Seat capacity still applies—each tech is a user.
    • Public App Store distribution is still planned; current access is the mobile web field app plus TestFlight for invited testers.

    Tips & common questions

    • Add a Home Screen shortcut to the field app for app-like launch while the public store listing is pending, or install via TestFlight when invited.
    • Train techs on handoff once—muscle memory beats explaining payment QR energy in the customer’s driveway.
    • If Jobs are empty, check assignment and filters before blaming mobile.
    • Don’t expect full Settings → Billing plan management on the phone.
    • Enable Face ID / Touch ID on native for faster unlock; manage passkeys on the website /auth/passkeys.
    • First loads may take a moment as you navigate; keep the browser (or app) up to date.
    • Sign-in or mobile routing issues? Include whether you are on web desktop, mobile web, or the native TestFlight app when writing customerservice@praevisio.co.

Bounty CRM mobile shares the same company data as desktop. Prefer fixing data once (wrong address on the contact) over maintaining a parallel “field notes only” habit.
