Features
Timekeeping
Day attendance clocks, per-job labor tracking, and timesheets—included on Professional and Business, or as an add-on.
Overview
Timekeeping in Bounty CRM tracks time by person in two layers: day attendance (clock in/out for the workday) and job labor (start/pause/resume/stop while working a specific job). Timesheets let you review punches; managers with the right permissions can review the team.
Timekeeping is included on Professional and Business. On Starter you can buy it as a feature add-on. Your plan must include Timekeeping and each user’s role must allow the matching time-entry permissions.
Job status timestamps (when a job was started or completed) are separate from labor clocks. Timekeeping punches are the source of truth for attendance and job hours.
What it allows you to do
- Clock in and out for the day on web (Team) or mobile (FAB / clock actions).
- Start, pause, resume, and stop labor against a job while you’re assigned or working it.
- See open clocks and durations so long-running punches don’t get forgotten.
- Review your own timesheet; managers with permission can review others.
- Use job labor totals and average job time metrics where your role allows.
How it impacts your workflow
Day clocks answer “was this person working today?” Job clocks answer “how long did this job take, and who spent time on it?” Running both is normal—someone can be clocked in for the day and also on a job.
Office leads use timesheets for payroll handoff and overtime awareness. Field techs use mobile clocks between stops so hours aren’t reconstructed from memory at Friday close.
Key screens & actions
- Web — People → Team for day clock and timesheets; job detail for labor controls and totals.
- Mobile — Day clock from the field app action menu; job labor on the job detail surface.
- Dashboard — Optional day clock widget and average job time metrics when permitted.
Plans & permissions
- Entitlement — Timekeeping must be on your plan (included on Pro/Business, or add-on).
- Self — Roles with time-entry access can clock themselves and view their own timesheet.
- Team — Viewing or correcting another person’s timesheet needs manage-level time permissions.
