    Dashboard

Your daily command center—widgets, metrics, today’s schedule, and recent activity customized for owners and dispatch.

    Overview

The Bounty CRM Dashboard is the first screen most users see after sign-in. It is designed as a daily command center—not a static report—so you can answer “What needs attention today?” without bouncing between Jobs, Billing, and People. Widgets surface key metrics, today’s schedule, and recent activity so owners, office staff, and dispatch can orient quickly.

Unlike a full analytics suite, the Dashboard focuses on operational pulse: open work, money in motion, and what is happening on the calendar right now. It complements—not replaces—list views and detail screens elsewhere in the app. When you need to act, each widget is a short hop into the related module.

Dashboard layout and available widgets can differ by role and what’s in your plan. Owners often lean on revenue and pipeline signals; dispatch leans on today’s jobs and technician load.

What it allows you to do

Use the Dashboard to scan the business at a glance, then drill into the work that matters.

    • See headline metrics—job volume, estimate and invoice activity, and other operational numbers—without opening each module.
    • Review today’s schedule so you know which jobs and events are on the board before the phones start ringing.
    • Scan recent activity to catch newly created or updated records, sends, and status changes.
    • Customize which widgets you rely on so an owner view emphasizes money and pipeline while a dispatch view emphasizes calendar and crew.
    • Jump from a widget into Jobs, Billing, Contacts, or other hubs when something needs follow-up.

    How it impacts your workflow

Most field-service days start with triage. Without a dashboard, that triage is a mental checklist: open the schedule, skim unpaid invoices, check whether yesterday’s estimates were accepted. The Dashboard collapses that ritual into one pass.

For owners, morning review becomes “metrics first, exceptions second.” For dispatch, it becomes “calendar first, capacity second.” Either way, the Dashboard reduces context switching: you decide what to work next, then open the module that owns that work. Over time, teams often standardize a shared morning habit—owner checks pipeline and cash, office checks open estimates and overdue invoices, dispatch confirms today’s assignments—using the same screen with different emphasis.

The Dashboard also helps when you return from a busy stretch. Recent activity catches what changed while you were on a job site or in a meeting, so you do not miss an accepted estimate or a newly booked job that needs a tech.

    Key screens & actions

In the web CRM, open Dashboard from the main menu. On mobile, Home is the field-oriented equivalent in the bottom nav—see /docs/features/mobile for how the field app surfaces schedule and activity.

    Widgets and metrics

    • Metric widgets summarize counts and status across jobs, estimates, invoices, and related activity.
    • Schedule widgets highlight what is booked for today so dispatch can confirm coverage.
    • Activity feeds show recent creates, updates, and customer-facing events (sends, accepts, payments) depending on your data and plan.

    Owner vs dispatch customization

Treat the Dashboard as role-shaped, not one-size-fits-all. Owners typically keep revenue, open estimates, and unpaid invoices visible. Dispatch typically keeps today’s jobs, assignments, and short-horizon schedule density visible. If a widget does not help your morning pass, hide or deprioritize it so the screen stays scannable.

    1. Sign in and open Dashboard from the sidebar (web) or start from Home (mobile).
    2. Scan metrics for outliers—spikes in open estimates, overdue invoices, or jobs still needing a technician.
    3. Confirm today’s schedule and note any jobs that still need a technician.
    4. Review recent activity for overnight accepts, payments, or new contacts.
    5. Drill into Jobs, Billing, or People for the first concrete action of the day.

    Connections

The Dashboard does not store its own operational records; it reflects live data from the rest of Bounty CRM.

    Permissions & plan notes

Dashboard is a core module included on Starter ($49/mo), Professional ($129/mo), and Business ($249/mo). You’ll see it labeled Business on pricing and billing. Free trial uses the same core module set as Starter. Seeing a widget does not grant write access to the underlying records—your role permissions still control whether you can edit jobs, send invoices, or manage team settings.

    • What’s in your plan: whether the Dashboard module is enabled for your company.
    • What a role allows: whether you can open related pages and perform actions when you drill in.
    • Sensitive metrics may be less useful to field techs; use roles so office and owner views stay appropriately scoped.

For a deeper explanation of plan features vs role permissions, see /docs/guides/roles-permissions and /docs/features/team.

    Tips & common questions

    • Make Dashboard your default morning stop even if you live in Jobs most of the day—exceptions hide in metrics and activity.
    • If today’s schedule looks empty but you know work is booked, check Jobs filters and time zone, then refresh the Dashboard.
    • Owners: pin attention on unpaid invoices and open estimates; those two widgets often pay for the morning review.
    • Dispatch: treat jobs with no technician or overlapping jobs as the first triage items, not just “how many jobs today.”
    • Dashboard is not a substitute for Reports or exports when you need historical analysis—use it for today’s decisions.
    • Widget data looks stale? Soft-refresh the page or re-open Dashboard after a heavy create/edit session. If something still looks wrong, email customerservice@praevisio.co with your company name and approximate time.
